WHY SHOULD I DONATE ?

In 2015, 5 million people died from diabetes complications. One human being dies from diabetes every 6 seconds in the world, more than AIDS or malaria. Yet, this disease is not curable... for now.

No matter if you are diabetic, if you love someone who has diabetes or if you just feel concernedyou can make a difference.

I would like my challenge to help me raise awareness about diabetes. By participating in this half marathon, I want to spread a positive example showing that even when a challenge is difficult, it is possible to control type 1 diabetes and open the door to a life full of possibilities. I organize this fundraising hoping that my personal challenge can generate solidarity and help cure T1D.

Donating means:

   Contribute to diabetes research,

Support organizations that helping young diabetics and their families

Participate in a positive adventure & contribute to the birth of my charity project.

HOW WILL THE MONEY BE USED?

The funds raised will serve 100% to fight diabetes.

70% will be donated to Fédération Française des Diabétiques and Beyond Type 1.

30% will be used to create my own charity project.

This nonprofit organization will be dedicated to improve type 1 diabetics' lives in France and in the world. It will be my way to get involved and feel useful to this community.

WHAT DO I GET  ?

This crowdfunding campaign is entirely non-for-profit. Your donations will help the organizations do their incredible work to improve diabteics life and fund research to find a cure. I will also help me create my own organization to help type 1 diabetics while hoping for a cure.

To thank you, each doantor will receive a gift card for World Diabetes Day, on November 14th. This gift card was created by the talented illustrator Charline Poncet and represents life with T1D.
